From Lost to Leader: Brian’s Journey of Faith & Purpose
Brian, 17, grew up in a Kampala slum where gang influence was rampant. After losing his father to violence, he struggled with anger, dropped out of school, and nearly joined a local gang. "I felt hopeless," he recalls. "Church was for ‘good kids’—not someone like me." Brian was invited to Smile Charity Uganda’s Youth Discipleship Fellowship by a peer mentor.
