Education Support Program – Empowering Futures Through Learning
At Smile Charity Uganda, we believe education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty. Our Education Support Program provides vulnerable children and youth with access to quality schooling, mentorship, and holistic development opportunities, because every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
Why Education Matters in Uganda
- Over 40% of Ugandan children drop out before completing primary school (UNICEF)
- 1 in 4 girls aged 15-19 is already a mother or pregnant (UBOS 2023)
- 70% of youth lack employable skills (World Bank Report)
Our program addresses these challenges through targeted interventions that keep children in school and prepare them for brighter futures.
